I am selling a Senegal Parrot with large cage (see attached photo). I bought the bird with it's sibling as hand reared youngsters in 2005. For the first two years they were kept in the house in a cage and were both very friendly indeed. When I moved house they became aviary birds. Unfortunately one of the pair escaped a few weeks ago and hasn't returned, leaving its partner feeling rather lonely. Since the partner escaped, the remaining bird has been craving human attention and I don't have the time that it deserves now that it's on its own. It used to be a very friendly bird indeed but having been in an aviary for so long it's lost some of its friendliness. Having said that I went into the aviary the other day and it flew straight onto my shoulder and demanded I scratched its neck! It would certainly be nervy around new people but with a bit of pacience this will be a very tame bird. Has been fine with men and women in the past, and says 'hello'. Gender is unknown. The cage is in very good condition but could do with new dowels as they are a little bit chewed. This model retails at £180+ online. We are in the Peterborough area. Will separate the cage from the sale if prefered.
