Unfortunately due to a change in circumstances we are selling our much loved African Grey parrot. She is 6 years old and extremely tame. She loves to be stoked and tickled, loves to be fed (always wants to try your food!) and being around people. Her diet is a mix of pellets and seeds, as well as vegetables and fruits. She makes a variety of sounds (hello, goodbye, water, whistles etc), although she doesn't mimic speech very well. Has a preference for males. She loves to be out of her cage, however can happily sit on her door for hours doing her own thing. She is used to 12 undisturbed hours sleep per night and is covered by pet insurance until July. She makes a wonderful pet and companion and we are really sad to see her go as she's one in a million. She comes with her cage, food, java parrot stand and toys. Please only make contact if she can have company and be out of her cage for long hours every day. I would want the owner to be aware of the commitment that parrots require as we are looking for a caring forever home for her. Experience in bird keeping and an understanding of the unique characteristics and needs of African Greys is also important. Price is negotiable for the right owners!
